* THANK YOU to Mrs. Karli and Mrs. Novacich for organizing another fun holiday party. Thank you also to all of the other parents who came in to help out with the party, including Mr. & Mrs. Auriemma who manned the milkshake station. Everyone had a great time! Also, a big thank you for all of the wonderful gifts I received for Christmas. I was overwhelmed by your generosity. I am having a wonderful year in 3rd grade, and your support as parents has so much to do with my success, and your child's success as well. Thank you!!

* A Social Studies map project will be sent home this week. Please look for it in your child's folder.

* We will be starting to read Charlotte's Web next week! Please make sure your child has a copy of Charlotte's Web. We will be reading two chapters a week.

* Please have your child bring in an empty Pringle's can. We will be using them for a math project. If you have any extra cans, you can send them in for someone who might need one. Thank you!

* Please have your child return his/her D.E.A.R. towel as soon as possible.

* SJS is collecting soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald house. Please save these at home, and your child can bring them into school at any time. Thank you!

* Please make sure that your child is completing all of his or her homework in cursive.
